A Reliable Block-Chain Based Biometric Authentication Solution for Aadhar

Objectives: To propose a reliable Block-chain based Biometric Authentication Solution (BBAS) for the Aadhar biometric authentication system. Methods: We have used Sokoto Coventry Fingerprint Dataset (SOCOFing) data set biometrics. The presented model was implemented using Ethereum network Geth (v.1.9.25) and Solidity (v.0.6.0). Python 3.8 Web3py were at client side. Findings: From proposed solution, it is inferred that BBAS avoids single point of failure problem as biometrics are distributed throughout block-chain.
